Silver Bow Montessori will host its annual Spring Fling Family Fun Day Saturday, March 27, on the school grounds, located at 1800 Sunset Road (behind Star Lanes).

The day begins with the 2nd Annual Spring Fling Fun Run. Race day registration and check-in starts at 9:00 a.m. At 10:00 a.m., the Easter Bunny will join participants in the 1K run/walk, and runners of all ages will take to the 5K course at 10:30 a.m. The cost is $10 for 1K entrants and $15 for 5K entrants. Preregistration by March 1 guarantees entrants a t-shirt and race goodie bag. Entry forms are available to print here.

The Family Fun Day kicks off at 11:00 a.m., and features Butte’s largest Easter egg hunt. 8,000 eggs will be distributed among five hunts according to age, and staggered as follows: 1–2 years at 12:00, 3–4 years at 12:15, 5–6 years at 12:30, 7–9 years at 12:45 and 10–12 years at 1:00. Admission for the egg hunts is $4 per child, which includes a coupon good toward one of the many other activities.

Other activities, available at a nominal cost, include a bouncy castle/slide, cake walk, face painting and tattoos, basketball shoot, a lucky duck game and needle-in-the-haystack. The Easter Bunny will be on hand all day for pictures (attendees should bring their own cameras).

Concessions will likely include pizza, hot dogs, cotton candy, coffee & hot chocolate, as well as pop and water.

A number of theme packages, each worth at least $250, will also be raffled. Items in the past have included a Mt. Tech Silver Membership, YMCA membership, Old Works and Fairmont greens fees, ski pass, massages, fine dining certificates, spa and beauty products, overnight accommodations, breakfasts, lunches, pizza, coffee, bowling, mini golf, theatre, jewelry, art supplies, home furnishings and more. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase at the event for $2 each or $18 for a book of 10 tickets.
